It was POURING rain...which I can't really complain about because I've been so lucky with the weather all summer and it was more pleasant than being too warm. I couldn't have been more sopping wet by the end if I'd jumped into the drink - but it's all good. The iPod and Garmin survived as well. Rain or no rain, you can't beat running around the Stanley Park seawall on a Sunday morning. At least it wasn't crowded...

Hi Nicole... I'm into podcasts for my runs. In addition to Steve Runner which I know we both listen to... I like podcasts from CBC radio and ABC Radio Australia. In the CBC family, DNTO http://www.cbc.ca/dnto/ is a fave... as well as Spark http://www.cbc.ca/spark/ . In Australia, the 30 minutes podcast called Innovations is great as it bends the mind around all sorts of Aussie inventions that are... well, innovative. http://www.radioaustralia.net.au/innovations/
Try a few of these. Run safe. John
Hey....just checking out your blog....so I can plot how much running I need to do before I give out. SMILE I love your marathon song list. Many of those songs I really like also. This weekend I will try to work up a list of some other fast beat songs that I love. I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated the fun "competition" that we are having. It really helps me keep on my running schedule. Now if I can just increase my long runs then I will be doing good. SMILE Hope your having a great day
