My Basket of Tricks
Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a little light on material right now. So what do I do when I don't have time to compose a proper blog post? I make a list.
I have this "running supplies basket". I keep it on top of the fridge for easy access to all of my little gadgets and whatnots for running. I tend to misplace things so this system helps me a lot. Maybe if you're new to running this will help you figure out some of the stuff you might need.
My basket contains:
1. Fuel Belt (4 bottle) + little bottles
2. Fuel Belt (1 bottle) - missing bottle
3. Nike running hat - white
4. Tensor bandages (4)
5. Fruit punch Gatorade Powder
6. Lululemon Running Gloves
7. Ryders Eyewear white running shades
8. Small container Vaseline
9. Garmin heart rate monitor
10. Strawberry Clif Shot Bloks Electrolyte Chews (2 packages)
11. Reflective armband with flashing lights
12. Headlamp
13. Small Ziplock bag of safety pins
14. Hair elastic
15. Mostly eaten travel-sized package of Tums
16. Keychain safety Whistle
17. iPod cord
18. Garmin Forerunner 405 owner's manual
19. PowerBar Sport energy bar - Cookies 'n' Cream (expired)
20. Salbutamol inhaler
21. Small flashing light (no battery)
22. Small case for digital voice recorder (which is missing by the way) and cord
That's it. I'd be curious to know if anyone thinks I should add (or delete) anything...
